A few years back, Pelayo commissioned CRD101, a unique army green bmw R100. It is said that green motorcycles are bad luck, but owning this one earned a well-deserved spot on the lucky side.

With its classic appearance and elegant style, this cafe racer is one of the most remarkable creations of the custom cafe racer community.

The 1000cc engine has been enjoyed and ridden by its owner, who came back to give it a new look. Unsure of what he was out for, we suggested black paint was something he’d never get tired of and which was equally as elegant as his former color. And so we took it in our workshop for a makeover.

A couple weeks later, the whole bike has been given a new lick of paint, from the tank right down to its subframe, wheels and fenders.

We went for a matte black tank with a double white line around it. To combine with the vintage look, we added the old school “by Cafe Racer Dreams” slogan under the iconic Bmw logo.

These combined with the matching custom crd dark brown seat and grips made this built a one of a kind.

What we love so much about CRD101 is that it looks and feels vintage, yet it comes with top of the line technology. Its the perfect example of a Cafe Racer Dreams factory-built motorcycle.

We can’t wait for Pelayo to experience his “new” beauty as he feels the vibration of the bike and gets the smell of the oil and gas through the outskirts of Madrid.
