With the ‘magic’ number of CRD23 Scrambler came one that will be one of our main customers and also one of the most important for the future opportunity that would provide us …
After more than a year of conversations with Jesus or ‘The Doctor’ as we know him in the family of Cafe Racer Dreams finally decided to reconvert his bike, the one that he had first used 23 years ago: a Honda Dominator NX650, the first of its kind in passing through our hands.
We changed subchasis, tire measures, seat, fenders … We put a gas tank of an old bike Bultaco Mercurio 175 GT along with a GR exhaust and Öhlins dampers to give that incredible final finish. Wrench inserted under seat, half of chassis trimmed and rebuilt by CRD. Battery source under seat, etc.
Also, new battery positioning, K & N air filter, Excel tires, headlight and enduro motorcycle lights and smaller flashers. And to finish, Coker Diamond tires.
The paint on the engine was made in grayscale made it seem impossible that this bike will be back on the streets for the first time after 24 years.
